Hi everybody!

Just wanted to let you know, that we have just picked the white grapes 2009, and that they are fantastic.

The Gruner Veltliner is not green, but golden and very, very aromatic. The great thing is the acidity. Very clear, focussed and brilliant.

Craig Hawkins has arrived from South Africa again to help for the harvest, which is great. As you can see on the picture, he always knows an even softer way to process the grapes.

We have bottled the 2008 white "Prellenkirchen" two weeks ago and I am very, very proud with that wine, but it is only 2.000 bottles. The blue grapes are still enjoying the autumn sun, the weather seems to stay just wonderful, with up to 25 degrees during the day and very cool nights. Everything looks extremely promissing... lets cross the fingers!
